Larry L. Hillblom, co-founder of DHL Worldwide Express, overcame humble beginnings on a farm in Kingsburg, California, to become a prominent international businessman and philanthropist. After earning a law degree from UC Berkeley and founding DHL with Adrian Dalsey and Robert Lynn, Hillblom expanded his ventures globally and played a key role in rescuing Continental Airlines from bankruptcy. He later settled in Saipan, where he also served as a Supreme Court Justice and made significant charitable contributions, including medical aid for underprivileged children in Saipan and Vietnam, until his death in a plane crash in 1995.
